Bringing NEP 2020 to Life at SJIS
At SJIS, we believe that learning should be joyful, meaningful, and relevant to a child’s world. That’s why we’ve embraced the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 not just as a guideline, but as a philosophy that guides everything we do — from the way we teach to the way our children experience school each day.
- Foundational Stage (5 years): Preschool to Grade 2

- Middle Stage (3 years): Grades 6 to 8
- Secondary Stage (4 years): Grades 9 to 12

With NEP and NIPUN Bharat, we ensure children achieve foundational literacy and numeracy by Grade 3 through songs, stories, and joyful learning experiences.
We embrace NEP’s vision of inclusive and equitable education by fostering diversity, gender equality, empathy, and a strong partnership with families.
We build a School Development Plan every year focused on safety, inclusivity, academic excellence, and mental well-being — with active involvement of parents, children, and educators.
